March to Redeem the Soul of America, Camp Casey, and the Peace Action Texas Annual Meeting

During the week of Easter and on Easter weekend, Peace Action Denton members participated in three big peace events. Below are some photos taken during the events.

The March to Redeem the Soul of America was launched with press conferences and marches in Irving, Texas on April 1 and Dallas on April 2, beginning a 120-mile walk that will arrive in Crawford, Texas on Thursday, April 13. The March will participate in "Easter in Crawford" - with President Bush planning to take his usual Easter vacation at his ranch - and the celebration of the third anniversary of the Crawford Peace House. Mothers Day Peace Picnic

Upcoming Event: Friday May 12th, 2006. Peace Action Denton invites all mothers and their families to join us for our second annual Mothers Day Peace Picnic at Civic Center Park on Saturday, May 13 beginning at noon. The picnic will be pot-luck, so please bring a dish if you can - but it isn't required.

Saturday March 18th − Three Years Too Many − Rally to End the War
