Ann Wright spent 26 years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves. She was a diplomat in the State Department for 15 years before resigning in March 2003, protesting the then-impending invasion of Iraq. **The Wars in the Middle East - David Barsamian. David Barsamian is host of the syndicated radio show "Alternative Radio," recipient of the Upton Sinclair Award, the Rocky Mountain Peace & Justice Center Asward, and the Cultural Freedom Fellowship from the Lannon Foundation of Santa Fe. **Rev. Peter Johnson. Long time activist for civil rights, Rev. Johnson was an assistant to Dr. King during civil rights campaigns. Rev. Johnson has also been actively involved in the peace movement, including participating in Camp Casey.
**Life in Occupied Palestine - Anna Baltzer. Anna is a Jewish American witness to human rights violations in Palestine.

**Human Rights in Colombia — Mike Sutton. Mike has recently returned from his second trip to Colombia, where the US government is supporting a brutal dictatorship in Colombia, and American corporations are supporting paramilitary death squads through their influence and power.
**School of the Americas — Kitty Case. What we can do to shut down the School of the Americas in Ft. Benning, Georgia, home to the largest training center for military governments of Latin America.

Carpools to Walk for Mideast Peace July 30

Mideast Peace Walk - Carpools leaving from Denton 2:00 pm - Meet on Locust side of Downtown Courthouse Square. Please join us.
Walk starts at 3:30 pm from Ferris Plaza, Dallas (Young & Houston).
Bring a white flag or cloth to wave as a symbol of peace; Please no banners, no signs, no political statements Innocent people are dying and we want our government and the world to know that we are united in this one belief: the violence in the Middle East must stop. Many civilians, including women and children, have died already. How many more will die? This walk is not affiliated with any political party or organization. Everybody is invited and encouraged to join us.Remember to bring plenty of water to drink.

Camp Casey in Crawford Sunday, August 6 through Saturday, September 2 Join Cindy Sheehan, Gold Star Families for Peace, Veterans for Peace, Iraq Veterans Against the War, the Crawford Peace House and hundreds of other beautiful people of conscience as they set up camp outside of President Bush's ranch this summer to demand an end to the war on Iraq.
