Ann Wright spent 26 years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves. She was a diplomat in the State Department for 15 years before resigning in March 2003, protesting the then-impending invasion of Iraq. Walk starts at 3:30 pm from Ferris Plaza, Dallas (Young & Houston).
Bring a white flag or cloth to wave as a symbol of peace; Please no banners, no signs, no political statements Innocent people are dying and we want our government and the world to know that we are united in this one belief: the violence in the Middle East must stop. Many civilians, including women and children, have died already. How many more will die? This walk is not affiliated with any political party or organization. Everybody is invited and encouraged to join us.Remember to bring plenty of water to drink.
